Obituary of Jacqueline Curatola

Jacqueline "Jackie" Gilroy-Curatola was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

She brought laughter wherever she went with a sense of humor that could keep you laughing for hours with her stories, only to reveal it was all a joke just when you believed her most.

Jackie earned her BSW from Passaic County College in Kingsborough community college she worked briefly as a social worker with teens in New York.

Later she served as a transport medical supervisor at Bergen Newbridge, Medical Center.

She loved her children, CJ and Cayla. She loved Jinx, the dog whom she fondly called her only true boyfriend.

Jackie is survived by two children her mother Mary Zoppi, her siblings, Tracy, Gilroy and Robert Gilroy and his wife Yvette.

She will be forever missed by countless family and friends whose lives were touched by her humor and love.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 910 Birch street in Boonton.
