Edward “Ned” Charles Norton, 63


 


Edward Charles Norton, 63 of Boonton passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.


Ned was born and raised in Greenwich, CT before moving to Boonton in 1970. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1979 to 1983. He was an Electrical Contractor working for Star-Low in Whippany.


Ned was predeceased by his beloved wife, the late Jill Norton (Hahl).  Cherished brother of Thomas, Nancy Festa and her husband John, Michael and his wife Cheryl, and Elizabeth Seiffert and her husband David. Ned is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.  Devoted stepfather of Victoria O’Neal, Richie Barnish, and Christopher Barnish. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Christine Gero.


Visiting for Ned will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton.


A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Birch Street in Boonton. Cremation will be private.
