My memories started with Johnny when I was ten year old. He visited Florida with Marge. During that visit he helped me practice baseball. We spent many hours hitting and catching balls. He was quiet exhausted, but I told him "Come on Johnny just a couple more fly balls". He always remembered how tired he was and how I didn't want to stop. However, this was just one of our many wonderful memories. It would take a month to tell you them all.So many memories of laughter and golf stories. One golf memory comes to mind, was he used to say many times to me, "JG you're not focusing". Then he would tell me just what to do and I would make a good shot. I'd say "why didn't you tell me that before?" He would turn red in the face and say "I have been telling you that for 28 years." We would laugh. So many fun and happy memories. Johnny Marhefka has to be the finest man I know. I don't think there will ever will be a day I don't miss him. If there is golf in heaven, I know he will have the first tee time.
Jackie and I will always love and miss you. You will always be in our hearts.
Our Condolences, prayers and love to Margie, Denise, John Jr., Mary and Family
