I met Charlie through the Boonton Elks lodge. He was an amazing man. Always there to help, enjoying our Friday night karaoke with other members. His passing has left a huge hole in the heart of his family and friends but also numerous fond memories that we will all have forever. Godspeed Charlie. Our deepest condolences, prayers, love and hugs to his family.

Charley was my very first supervisor at the New Jersey International & Bulk Mail Center when I joined the US Postal Service with his brother Tom, from 1986 to 1989. Charley was a soft-spoken man, never one to raise his voice --he spoke almost in whispers. I never heard him got angry with anybody; he was fair and even-handed. With Charley, it was always a do-your-job-and-I-won't-bother-you thing. I can still picture him in his denim pants and leather vest or jacket, with his leather boots. Charley was one of those rare breed of men ---modest, honest, fair-minded, humble to the core. Humanity lost a very decent human being. Condolences to the bereaved family. Pat Candalla

Charlie was a great man. He cared deeply about his friends, so much so they became family. I worked with Charlie for several years in the Post Office always very supportive. He was part of the group of friends that through the years became family. Joe Becker, Tom Jansen and Jim Longobardi. My deepest condolences to Mel, the children and grandchildren also to the rest of his family. Alicia Magarelli
