Marion Knott (Westenberger) Marion Knott passed away peacefully on Thursday February 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born in Boonton, New Jersey to Marian and George Westenberger Sr. She lived in Boonton her whole life and raised her family in Boonton Twp. Marion was married to Joseph T. Knott who predeceased her in 2005. She was the loving mother of five Children, Joseph T. Knott Jr. of Walnutport, PA, Maureen Occhiuto-Knott of Vernon, Deborah Bacchetta and her husband Tony of Sparta, Nancy Knott-Berrios and her husband Gary Berrios of Saylorsburg, PA, Linda Davis and her husband Michael of Bethlehem, PA. She was also a loving grandmother of Joseph Knott Jr, Gina Knott, Stacy Mahler, Josiah Occhiuto, Noah Occhiuto, Sarah Connelly, Jessica Wilkie, Gary Berrios Jr, Lily Berrios, Ryan Davis, and Matthew Davis, and two great grandbabies that are due in April that she will be looking down upon. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Thomas Westenberger, Joseph Westenberger, Frieda Whiteside and Rita Theriaultand her brother George Westenberger who predeceased her in 1990, and many nieces and nephews and wonderful neighbors who she loved dearly. Marion loved to garden and looked forward to every spring. She loved spending time with her family and was a dear friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed reading and playing mahjong and words with friends and spending time with everyone. She loved to travel and loved going on adventures to new places. She was fearless,her laugh was contagious and her smile would light up a room. There was nothing a cup of tea couldn't cure, and no matter what the problem was she always there to lend a hand. She always looked for the good in all and lived her life her way. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her and she is now with the love of her life…. rest in peace Mom,we love you and Dad. Funeral Mass Monday February 29, 2016 at 9:30AM at Our Lady or Mt. Carmel R. C. Church, 910 Birch St. Boonton. A private cremation will take place at a later date.
