Margaret (Margie) R. (nee Para) Hopkins, 79 of Boonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Relatives and friends may call at Lewis & Carey Directors of Funerals, (www.lewisandcareyfh.com) 312 West Main Street, Boonton, N.J. on Friday February 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Saturday February 4th from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. followed the Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, N.J. at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton. Margie was a lifelong resident of Boonton. She was a nurse's aide at the Lincoln Park Care Center for 21 years, retiring in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband Eddie Hopkins in 2002, her sisters Helen Cooke, Sophie Hulmes, Agnes Mazzucco, and her brothers, John and Frank Para. Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her daughters, Debi Hopkins and Patty Aspril and her husband Edgar. Also surviving is her sister Mary Smock.
